Our Story
Every big team started somewhere small. Ours started on a single laptop, passed back and forth between two people who refused to give up on a dream.
Childcare VA's – Kamille & Team was built from the ground up with faith, long nights, and a shared dream. Kamille and John have been working as virtual assistants since 2019, long before there was a team to speak of. In the very beginning, it was just the two of us with one computer — every time I logged out, he logged in. There was no office, no team, no safety net. Just two people determined to learn fast, work hard, and figure it out as we went.
What started as Kamille VA's, a one-woman operation helping childcare centers with basic admin and social media tasks, slowly became something bigger. One center trusted us with their billing. Another handed over their enrollment forms. A third asked us to help keep their parents in the loop every single week. With my husband's support and strategy, and my passion for organization and creativity, we started to see it clearly: we weren't just offering services — we were becoming the back-end support for the real, everyday challenges childcare leaders face and rarely get help with.
Every new client meant a new system to build, a new process to refine, and eventually, a new teammate to bring on board. By 2024, what began with just the two of us on that one laptop had officially become Childcare VA's – Kamille & Team — a dedicated team spread across administrative operations, enrollment systems, billing assistance, curriculum organization, and marketing execution, all built specifically around how childcare centers actually run.
